Licenses and closing

Well, congrats to Honami-sensei for more licenses. Kiss Scandal from Sono Toki Heart wa Nusumareta and Tenohira no Seiza were picked up by DMP books (June Manga)! Deserving ones too~ That leaves us with just Bukiyou na Silent left, and I'm going to have to say it'd just be best for us to drop it and close mochi*mochi. But our files will still be available for download as long as they remain unlicensed. Just thank you to all our friends, helpers, volunteers, joint partners, hosts, fservers and readers for sticking with us through the years. It was fun while it lasted. Ciao!

Thanks to spam and staff impersonators, we've removed our tagboard. Happy New Years to all the rest. Those who haven't played Tales of the Abyss really should, btw. ^_~ *addict* Asch x Luke x Asch forever~~ <3 Geh, I really want doujinshi of them.

What's this, another release? Yes, we're releasing Chapter 3 of the very cute and endearing Bukiyou na Silent by the incomparable Takanaga-sensei. More Tamiya and the Silent-kun for everyone! We couldn't have done it without the help of Kitten Celeste and her Photoshop expertise. Thanks a ton, KC! And thank you mochi readers for being patient with us. No, we still won't be releasing regularly, so please continue to be patient with us. We will release whenever we're ready, we will promise you that much. Anyway, download away! Hop over to #kodocha @ irchighway.net for the release.

Edit: FYI, two of our former projects - Hybrid Child (#8) and G-Senjou no Neko (#30) made the list of top 50 manga sold in the U.S. in September as reported in Comic Book Resources (see bottom half of the page). Is that cool or what?

Artemis // October 21 2006 @ 02:22 PM

Yes, it's true, we aren't dead despite all rumors to the contrary. It's just that poor Artemis is holding up the fort by herself and she, as well as the rest of us, have other interests that occupy our time. We are woefully short on yaoi-obssessed staff (any experienced cleaners/editors out there willing to help us out?). Anyway, sorry about the recent lack of releases. Never fear, we will finish our projects as long as they remain unlicensed *g*.

Anyway, here we are with a joint *gasp* release with those lovely gals at Dragonfly - a cute, cute Hikaru no Go doujinshi which just makes me want to watch the anime all over again. Here are Hikaru and Akira in Getsujo Roman by Sakura Itsuki (Odagiri Hotaru)- can it get any better than that? Hop to #kodocha @ irchighway.net to download and enjoy. See ya there!

Successfully moved

If you see this news post, this means mochi*mochi has successfully moved over to its new host! Feel free to resume posting on our tagboard. ^^ Let us know if things are buggy or broken, and we'll try to iron out the kinks asap. Thanks for your patience!

Transferring hosts

I'm moving the entire harusame.net domain over a new host, so we'd appreciate it if people would refrain from posting on the tagboard until the move is complete. That way there are no lost or misplaced messages. And we wouldn't want to miss a message from any of our visitors. ^^ Downloads and things should not be affected, so do continue to browse to your heart's content. We've set our email to forward to our new email address at mochimanga@gmail.com so we won't miss any email messages. The domain transfer should be complete in 2 to 3 days, and you'll know when you've reached our site on our new host. Thanks for your cooperation while we transfer our site over.

Licenses and more licenses!

Fresh from AX06, DMP has announced the licenses of two projects by two of our beloved mangaka: Loveholic by Kawai-sensei and Chou ni Naru Hi by Yumeka-sensei! Congratulations to them! Boy is our project list just getting shorter and shorter. Hope everyone who loves the two titles can do their best to support them. ^_^

Admin stuff as usual, you know the drill. Files will be removed from our site and fservers, and we ask everyone else to do the same. Thanks!

Artemis // July 06 2006 @ 12:41 AM

Wow, a release...

Today we have Loveholic Volume 2 Chapter 1 for all of you anxious Kawai-sensei fans. We're winding down our projects as real lives have gotten busier, and our interest waning from BL manga. But never fear, we plan to finish up the projects that we do have and to do so, we're looking for some dedicated and experienced cleaners (or editors) to help us. Email us at mochi@harusame.net if you're interested! At any rate, enjoy the newest Loveholic chapter by hopping onto #kodocha @ irchighway.net or waiting for the web links to be posted.

Boy, it sure seems like all we've been doing lately is announcing licensed projects. Well guess what? This time is no different bwahahaha!! I'm sure some of you have already heard that DMP has picked up our beloved Rin! by Yukine Honami & Satoru Kannagi. Please do your best to support it!! We're removing the http links and please respect our wishes and remove all the files from IRC distribution and other link sharing forums.

And I lied, we're not just announcing a licensed project we are also releasing the conclusion of Kikagaku Ehon (Part B). And for being so patient during our long break, the link will be available right away. Have at it and for those of you unable to get it by http for whatever reason, you can still visit us at #kodocha @ irchighway.net to get the file. See ya there!

I'm not even going to dignify the rudeness on our tagboard with a response. Thanks a bunch, really. At any rate, congratulations to Nakamura-sensei again for the license of Junjou Romantica by BLU. We had dropped the project earlier, but this time all direct links to it have been removed.

Would someone please be so kind to link the news article of the license announcement? I haven't been able to find it anywhere. Anyway, we're still keeping it pulled regardless.

Update (Feb 16, 2006):
BLU has emailed that they cannot deny or confirm the license of Junjou Romantica, but do keep an eye out at their website in the coming months. So it looks like its license is imminent. ^^ It doesn't change our position with the project anyway. Now confirmed here. *confetti*
